I´ve been a lover of Guzzi´s since the age of seventeen. Thats when I bought my first bike, ( an 850 T-3 salvage job ) and took it apart in my dad´s driveway! Since then I´ve ridden countless Californias, Lemans, Mille´s, etc. ( a buddy used to work at a local dealership!) In june of this year I happened upon my Daytona 1000rs at a Victory/BMW dealership. It had been sitting there for over one year! It seems everyone here in the U.S. has to have either a Harley, or a Honyamasukawi. I´m not going to tell you what I payed for it, but I thought it was the deal of the century. This bike is an absolute BRUTE! Very mellow down low, but after 5000rpm this thing is f***ing Scaaarrryyy. She doesn´t appreciate sharp turns, but loves fast sweepers. It is unlike any other Guzzi I have ever ridden. I have never seen another one. If anyone has any info such as magazine reviews, or hop up tips, I´d love to see them.
