Hey everyone, looking for some help with my 2024 KTM 300 SX.

I bought the bike second-hand and unfortunately didn´t receive the dongle/tool to reset or calibrate the electronic power valve (EEV).

I’ve just done a top-end rebuild, and I accidentally hooked up the battery and turned the engine over before reinstalling the electronic power valve controller unit. The controller moved while off the bike, and now I can’t get it to line up correctly with the valve gear—even if I try repositioning the valve manually.

Has anyone come across this?

Is there a way to manually realign the controller or get it back to the correct position?

Can a reset be done without the dongle?

Any aftermarket or DIY solutions, or do I need to take it to a KTM dealer?


Any advice would be hugely appreciated—really keen to get it sorted and riding again. Thanks in advance!
