I live in Loindon and ride a Benelli Adiva which is the Italian scooter that is the basis of the Diamo Velux. I have done over 20,000 miles of hard inner city riding and my bike is just starting to show the strain. I keep pretty dry in the rai and have only been soaked once when a truck ran through a huge puddle next to me. A plastic windscreen is fine and the onl;y downsides are: small wheels donĀ“t like pot holes the boot on my model is hard to close and eventaually began to leak (I jury rigged a piece of plastic to fix this) Havinga fold down roof is great but I hardly ever do this ant more Pluses Cheap commute Robust design Looks odd but wait until it rains I have riden bikes for 20 years and still have a BMW R1100R - thr scootrer is much better! |
