Um, yeah well thats not really possible tho is it... The velux only comes in 150. and I dont want a helix or some other maxiscooter... There really is no reason 150ccs would not be enough if properly tuned... which is what Im talking about... and for that matter, I think ANY scooter should be tuned to maximise appropriateness to your situation irregardless of cc size. Especially given the drastic differences often available to someone willing to take the time to do them... Not to mention that its often not toooo hard to do... usually Its silly to think one can fix an out of tune motor by buying a larger out of tune motor instead... Especially given the fact that scooters are usually tuned for maximum speed, sacrificing torque in the process... this likewise goes for 250s... They too often have restrictors that can drastically improve performace if removed The velux, however, is a 150... and I remain unsure as to whether or not it too has such restrictors I can always just check it out as I do what Ive mentioned... I was just wondering if anyone else had started that process and if so, what they had found out... Still interested in hearing any tips or info from other velux owners who have started doing the same... Scooterists are notorious for tweaking and tuning motors and often people misinterpret this and reccomend to them a larger engine... but scooterists know the advantages of a tuned motor and smaller CC sizes... besides, if I wanted endless torque, I could always get some sort of tractor, or if I wanted needles performance I could always get a sportbike... and then kill myself on it I want neither and think scooters are better than both. :) Vyn |
