I looked at the Velux bikes today, at Scooter Gallery of Seattle around University of Washington. They seemed fit together like a prototype but manufactured over and over. I look at one, a customer had dropped and it handled the fall very well with little damage. The windshield is made from polycarbinet and seems very tuff. I am going to test drive one tomarrow. I will report on my experience. Thanks for the link on the cheaper priced bike. I wish I could really look it over before I bought one online. It is odd that the pictures at scootersbythebay.com do not show rear view mirrors? Makes me nervous about what I am buying.
