Recently inherited a 1974 Guzzi 850 GT. The bike is in very good shape and mostly together. There are a lot of parts that came with this bike but I am sure I am missing some of the parts needed to put bike in running condition. Carburators are off and apart,Distributer is out and apart,rocker box oil lines are off and missing, and I need to know what type and size of battery it needs Bike was last together in 1985, was being ridden and ran good. Not sure why it was taken apart but I suspect it was for maintenance. My Father was the owner and had health problems which is why no further information is avaliable. also have a second Guzzi of similar year and size for sale. I am a mechanic by trade and any help or information on this(these) bikes would be appreciated. The first bike will be restored and ridden by Myself. Thanks in advance for your help, Mike Williams.
