three quarts with the change of the filter change every 2500 miles keeps the amount of stuff (shavings etc) to a minimum in the motor

let that hush puppy warm up before giving it a demand and the motor will last a very very long time over 100K miles

either the stock oem filter or auto zone has a cheap fram it works fine i´m starting to use synthetic oil it doesn´t drip off like conventional mineral oil, of course HD doesn´t refine oil so I use mobile one stuff i´ve used synthetic in my dirt bike big difference in how the clutch worked
