I´ve got a 92´ FXSTC. It sounds like it could be the plugs. Could be the gas, mixture ratio air/fuel, ignition timing, etc. I would check everything out myself. If you ride it regularly and know what has been serviced lately, you can elimanate those items, but it is good to check everything anyway.
