Is it possible to install the R1200 S seat and exhaust assembly on the ST ?

What ´modifications´ would be needed if it isn´t a straight bolt on?

Looks from .jpgs that the ST plastic would need shortening for the S seating to mate correctly. Anyone with a Tape Measure ?

What can be used to remove sections of the Black Paint on the Engine ? Does that stuff really aid engine cooling ??
