| I love my Diamo Fury! Easy to handle, which is great for a scooter its size. (Im only 115 lbs) Easy to start, easy to maintain. Many local vendors offer awesome warranties. I get atleast 100 MPG, and Ive ridden it at speeds of 65-70. They are not freeway legal, but a great alternative for getting around. I am a college student in Salt Lake City. Yes it snows here, but the nice thing about the Fury is the windshield. Espacially in rain and light snow conditions, it is a valuable asset. In Utah you must have a Motorcycle licence to drive a scooter. Check with your local laws. Motorcycle courses are available many places. (I took mine at the Community College, $150) Although the Diamo Fury is an automatic with electric start, and I did not necessarily need to know how to drive a motorcycle..I found the tools I learned in the course very helpful. I would recommend a first time rider to be taught extensively by someone more experienced, or take a course. I think the Diamo is a much better deal than its Yamaha equivalents (I shopped around a lot). The storage space is definately adequate. I go to the grocery store and fit $70-80 worth of stuff in it. The optional carrying case is very handy..but mine wasn´t manufactured very sturdy, and we had to reinforce the bottom with a wooden board. I am definately looking forward to this summer, and smooth rides ahead! |
