My wife has a 2008 V-Thunder XL, so we had to figure it out too. If your left turn signal is on, press the left turn signal button again, that should turn it off. Same with the right turn signal, press the right turn signal button to turn it off. This is identical to how HD turn signals work. Hope this helps!
