I just bought a ´05 Deluxe - being delivered in a couple of days. The dealer told me that the Screamin´ Eagle slip-ons would not sound any better than the stock pipes. He suggested the Cycle Shack slip-ons but with these I found I supposedly need some kind of a tuning(?) kit (for $400), bringing the labor + matl to over $1100! I´m a new Harley owner- does this make sense and what are my options without spending a fortune?
