I took delivery of my FLSTNI one week ago, in Black/White. The paint is awesome and the blue has a distinct bluish pearly tingle in the right light. The Black looks wet and about 3 feet deep. I had to take 2 plane trips to get to the bike and travelled 1075 Kms in 22 Hours getting home. The 10 hour Ferry Ride took up 400 or so! This bike is my first Softail and I am very pleased so far. My only complaint is that, even with the Screamin Eagle Fatboy slim boards the bike handles a bit too well! You will scrape a bit. No major damage, though. My bike is a stocker bar V&H Pipes. I have a full Stage 2 and Race tuner but will run bike in and enjoy the upgrade once I get a bit more experience on this particular ride. When I went to pick up my bike there was a blue and white FLSTNI next to mine. While I had pondered my choice over and over every night for 3 agonizing months, I left with my black and white SKUNK TAIL very pleased with my choice. I have always been partial to blue, though, too....Hmmmm....Just as well the BLUE and WHITE FLSTI was SOOOOOOOLD. Get the PROFILE Laced rims, pictures do not do them justice. Check the blue bike in the reviews out. I will try to post some pics of mine soon. |
