Hi,
I´m a novice and have just bought a DRZ400s as my first bike and so far have no regrets. I´ve been told by quite a few ppl that I would struggle with the 426, too much power for a beginner and hard to start etc.
Go for the electric start DRZ - you won´t regret it :)
