Got a ´79 DT250 in the storage unit. Parting it out atm because I want to mod it until it´s a different machine! My inspiration is the TW200. That´s just the kind of lightweight fatwheel I want instead of a rokon or something otherwise huge. So I want fat tires, a low and torquey first gear (bigger sprocket?), a shorter front fork (possibly with a drive system for the front wheel) and possibly smaller wheels to lower the bike artificially.
I´m not interested in a bigger engine although it sounds like one off a dt400 might be a good idea at some point.
That´s my vision if it makes sense let me know if it won´t work let me know if you have a better idea... let me know!
