I live in Pattaya Thailand where I drive motorbikes every day. Although I also own a 900 c.c. Triumph Street Twin, which I dearly love, I firmly believe the Yamaha Nmax is the best all-around motorbike money can buy at any price for the driving conditions I encounter. First off, this Nmax is a 155, not a 160 as reported here. There are two models of this 155 c.c. bike. And I have owned the old model for six years. Mine is rated at 14.8 horsepower vs the new model which is rated at 15.4 horsepower. To really compare the new and old model, one should compare them to their chief rival, Honda´s PCX 160. Both Nmax 155´s have had better brakes than the Honda 160, formerly the PCX 150. Weighing in at just 280 pounds with disc brakes front and rear. And ABS front and rear, for the money the Yamaha Nmax has the best brakes in the business. And this enables it to be a very fast bike for its class. The PCX 150-160 compared to the old model Nmax has a soft ride and it´s very smooth to operate. My Nmax is jerky at very slow parking lot speeds. However, the old model Nmax can more easily carry heavier loads and it offers much quicker sharper handling than its Honda 150-160 rivals. But sharper handling came at a cost because my Nmax has a harsher ride than the HOnda 150-160. But,and this is a big but--when Yamaha introduced its new model Nmax it
