Hey guys, I´ve got 2 suzkis 1 is a GSXR600y 30 odd thousand miles from new and must be ex show bike as its got all the toys and bits which ate worth a lot. I´ve just bought a 1982 GSX250 e or r. 63,000 odd miles and is now tax and m.o.t exempt like some would know. The 250 seems to leak 1 or 2 drips of oil from only place can see if the cam chain tensioner. It only happens when you push the bike up to 39mph or doing 25mph up a very steep long hill. I´ve ordered a new chain tensioner as they a automatic tensioned. The bike last power the other day which can only happen through a problem with the loom or stator coil etc if it was electrical but on the other side only fule spark or air could causing a misfire or lose of power. We have rebuilt afew engine in our time but this one´s got me a bit stumped as its an old bike, and oldest one I´ve had. If anyone could give me some insight I´d be really grateful. Also it seems the gsx 550 body and freams look about the same and would petrol tank and other stuff fit the 250? I know gs is also identical. Many thanks to you all for reading this
