Your VN800 will handle two-up riding with ease at normal speed limits on fairly flat terrain. In fact, your VN800 will out run any of the other cruisers on the road on flat ground. Especially those that use pushrods in their engines. The VN800 engine is truly a piece of powerful artwork. Don´t let its diminutive size fool you. That rascal really puts out the horsepower without even breathing hard. You might gain an extra inch or inch and a half of seat space by moving up to the larger cruisers, but you won´t go any faster or much more comfortably. Get skinny girls to ride behind you and the 800 will be plenty for trips.
