| Yes, sorry this took so long, just found this stite. I´ve had three of the Z1Rs; and have my first one still. It is bone stock. In America we only had the Z1R for two years: 1978 and 1980; in 1979 Kawasaki sold the Z1R-TC, a turbo charged Z1R straight from the dealer. Kawasaki delivered a few Z1Rs to ATP (American Turbo Pack) in ´78 and ATP adapted the turbo to the bikes; Kawasaki sold these bikes thru the dealers in ´79; some had different "TC" exclusive paint. So, for America, the only real Z1Rs are the 78 (blue) and the 80 (black). There are also numerous differences between the two years. Please feel free to email if you have any questions. |
