Yes, sorry this took so long, just found this stite. I´ve had three of the Z1Rs; and have my first one still. It is bone stock. In America we only had the Z1R for two years: 1978 and 1980; in 1979 Kawasaki sold the Z1R-TC, a turbo charged Z1R straight from the dealer. Kawasaki delivered a few Z1Rs to ATP (American Turbo Pack) in ´78 and ATP adapted the turbo to the bikes; Kawasaki sold these bikes thru the dealers in ´79; some had different "TC" exclusive paint. So, for America, the only real Z1Rs are the 78 (blue) and the 80 (black). There are also numerous differences between the two years.
