In June 2008 i brought a CPI GTR 50RR,and had serious reliability problems at 4000 miles,The bike was dieing/cutting out when stopped at a junction. i pulled out of the junction and the bike died in the middle of the road and a on coming car missed me by an inch im lucky to be alive today. The next day i brought the bike to the garage and they fixed it, but i dont know what was wrong with it, the problem was trial and error. All i know is it had a new choke, fule lines and by-passed the fule filter. a week later the same problem happend again, as the same as last time they fixed it and i was on my way. At 4500miles my bearings broke in my back wheel when i was on the way home from college, i managed to get the bike to the garage they found two of the bearings broken, they replaced them and in three days the same problem rised again but the back wheel had locked up completly and wasnt safe to ride. the reviews on this bike are very good but i think my CPI GTR is a (lemon) friday night bike! which they might of got home abit quicker! i am not faulting the garage which sold me this bike as they are being very helpful. i am now in the middle of contacting CPI manufacturer too see if they will send me a new scooter because of all the problems that i have had in 6 months. when the bike is in full working order i love it! the styling and the handling is top of the 50cc market. i have fell in love with this bike even though it has had these problems. Hopefuly CPI will send me a new bike and i will up date this message if these problems happen again. thank you for reading.....
