Hi Guys and gals. Am new on here but a few weeks back my choke lever came off my SMX 125. The garage i took it to, looked high and low for a replacement but alas could not find one. They even contacted the manufacturers in Spain who informed thm that they no longer produce the part for this bike. The guy at the garage hand made one (bless him) but it´s a lot shorter and doesn´t seem to work very effectively. The one yamaha produce has a different mechanism OMG they researched every possible avenue. I have no idea where the original level came off but i´d have to cover a 9 mile trip so that´s out of the question. Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do? I don´t know about yours but mine loves aa lot of choke |
