Hello there, I bought a Sum up in Nov 2008, it appears quite well made but I have not used it much due to the bad weather. I have just had the 500km service done (£49). I think it needs another at 2000km and then at 5000km /12 months intervals. It has been reliable in answer to your query, but I have just had a warranty job done ie the right mirror became loose. I traced it to the mounting bracket which is fixed to the handlebars by a weld, which had broken. I had not knocked it or anything so it must have been a poor weld. My dealer replaced the handlebars / bracket this week, no problem, free of charge under the warranty.
I have owned a lot of larger bikes and just got this for nipping about locally. It is a reasonable size for my 6´ 3\
