to be honest with you mate i think you should get a new battery cos i neva heard of that unless ya ulternator (or howeva ya spell it) but would go into a garage to check it out first because i have never heard of a battery recharge itself and i have the same bike and had it de-ristricted but only does 68mph downhill 61 on a flat, and as for the lights you would have to rewire the whole light system up and the oild cap is a %&#!¤ to take of but it does unscrew its not a pull off one if ya need anymore help just email me mate and will get back to you thanks mark
