Ok these are the simple steps to follow - they are recomended to be done by a Qualified Mechanic as there easy to mess up and then you come back asking Whats wrong with my ped 1) De restrict your ped (remove restrictors ie/ exhaust cone, variator washer and cdi unit) Stage Zero 2) Fit a "sports exhaust" (ie/ Leovinchi Zx) Stage One Tuning 3) Fit rollers, belt and clutch suitable for that 4) Buy a bigger bore ( ie/ mhr 70cc ) Stage Two Tuning 5) Buy a bigger Carb ( ie Deloroto 17.5mm, 19mm or 21mm ) Stage Three Tuning 6) Adjust Carb mixtures and air jetting (add an open air filter if wanted) 7) Add a gear up kit Stage Four Tuning Once you have followed those steps thats what i call "road tuning" and will get you around the following speeds: Stage One: 55mph Stage Two: 60-65mphmph Stage Three: 65-70mph Stage Four: 70-75mph Note: Theses are ESTIMATED SPEEDS for a 50cc (with 70cc kit fitted as stage 2) not a 125/172 |
