The y2k is THE fastest bike. I was watching some motorcycle show and they had a peice on the y2k. The y2k , theoretically, has no top speed (according to this show). The way the engine works, the faster it goes, the more horsepower you get. They say its top speed is 250 mph because thats approximately how fast they got before they about ran out of road. The only thing that would prevent someone from breaking the sound bearrier are restrictions in gas milage.
