Hello Karen my name is stephen if it runs and it looks like it,s all thier and better yet if the engine and frame #s match up get it. It does have a 4speed trani not 5 unless someone dropped the $900.00+ for the 5 speed conversion. Its reliability is okay as a whole but you have to keep in mind that you´re dealing with 50 year old technology not a fuel injected crotch rocket. If you´re not paying enough attention to her she will bite you. Kicking the beast over should not be a big deal barring everything is in proper fitment and you know the correct tick over procedure. Yes you will have to learn british terminology they do have a propencity for inunciating thier words. The biggest thing that i can recommend is research just like the deep purple song Listen Learn and Read on. Good luck with it and if you have any ?s feel free to ask me i´m hear to help
