This is what a motorcycle should be, a raw iron.
It smells and sounds like a motorcycle should.
With more than 30 years since production reliablity
and comfort is not top notch but it handles very well
and out-performance many new bikes!!

The Lightning was a sports motorcycle in it´s days
and does not like cruising. It should be actively driven
and likes you to use your right hand a lot.

1970 was the last year of the real BSA. 1971 and on
of Lightnings and Thunderbolt shared the new OIF trellis
with the Triumph T120s.
