I have a 1998 honda valkryie. My question is: on the rear shocks there are holes round the circumference, i presume to set the preload. The decal on the shock is damaged and only shows an arrow and the numbers 2 - 5 under certain holes. the shocks are set on 5 at the moment. As the holes go all the way round the shock, can i go higher than 5. Does the rear wheel have to be off the ground to set the preload. thank you.
