Any way to increase gas mileage?

I absolutely love my 1998 Valkyrie. I know we dragon riders do trade economy for performance, but I would like to at least get better gas mileage than an Accord! Anyone have any success with improving gas mileage? Mine has a 6 degree trigger wheel so also have to use the high octane gas. Would I gain anything returning it to stock? Thanks for any suggestions!
