Hi everyone,I found this site by accident whilst looking for cossack sidecars.I started work in 1976 as an apprentice motor cycle mechanic and my first job was to remove the dark brown protective coating which covered all the ´chrome´parts on the bike.
This meant sitting for hours on my %&#!¤ on a freezing concrete floor with a petrol soaked rag trying to degrease the spokes,rims,handlebars etc.Anyone else tried it ?
