I have owned my 1998 Honda Shadow Aero 1100 for about three years now. My wife and I have taken it on several weekend forays and it has been wonderful. Its a really good touring bike and my wife says that she only gets uncomfortable after about 100 miles. We ride with several other bikes (mostly Harley´s) and found that our bike has no problem at all keeping pace and even leading a run. It has been a great bike and very reliable. I urge you to give it a good once over and if everything looks great and it passes your test drive requirements, you would do well to purchase it. Its a great bike for the money and its also very easy to find aftermarket parts for it. I think you will be surprised how much you fall in love with this metric cruiser!!!
