Owned and ride VTR F1 For a year now, great bike, fast fun and reliable, had quads and a triple and found that the VTR is a great alternative. Ride (if fork oil is changed) is good, brakes could be better and is when fluid is changed regularly using DOT 5 and steel hoses, cheap to buy but expensive on fuel ! 110 miles on a tank and that´s taking it easy. Carbs can go out of balance frequently (i think it´s vibration) but a great all year rounder and can keep up with big Gixxers if you have enough nerve. i´ve heard about a weakness in the front cam tensioner ? not had any probs myself, but anyone else come accross this ?
