1998 VFR Mirrors and fender?

Does anyone know what mirrors can be put on the 1998 VFR, that dont have the rubber cover, just all black? The 2001 mirrors dont fit. Also does anyone know how to remove the HUGE fender from the 1998 VFR (besides using a hack saw)?
