In 1998, they made the F3 and the SE versions of the CBR600. The F3 being the most common. The SE is easy to spot because it´s the purple and yellow "Smokin Joe´s" edition. As for the F2, F3 and F4i question...each time Honda makes a significant change in the model, they change the "F" designation. So there´s no such thing as a 1998 F2 or F4. Those were F3´s. Just like there´s no 2002 F3.
