I was owner of this bike from June 1986 up to August 2006 Total was done 42 000 kilometers. Engine problems was after 10 000 km as founded totally worn out piston rings. There were changed piston with rings and cylinder comnplete. Problem was two stroke cylinder oil Agip, since that were changed by Castrol. Excelent performances and was not necessary to change previous described parts even when pass 42 000 km. Since that for me Castrol lubricants are always use in engines. At 41 000 km was lost fifth gear, remain only four gears and as was GSX 1100 R in option that bike was replaced. Further information of this bike I donĀ“t have. Actually this bike never let me on road due to mechanical failure. riderseat distance from ground was 855 mm, in that time this was to high as usually distance was 800 mm, but this does not changed to much curve stability or performance. Stability was excellent as do not forget at this time it was bike with high technology on road, rear adjustable single shock absorber cantilever, fore suspension has also adjusting 4 position.My first groud contact was around 3000 km because of missing front suspension auxiliary shock absorber (steering wheel absorber) what causes whenrear suspension was adjusted to hard position makes when engine come to heavy road with bumpers unusual vibration of complete steering wheel. Since that rear suspension was adjusted to maximum soft and steering wheel was holding wery hard to avoid shaking. This problem was only examined on bumpy roads waht at this time in Croatia was everywhere. Another problem was spare parts as this bike was made in small quantities and ordering of spares need time.
