my cougar has only done 5000 miles but it cuts out whilst going along ,thought it was gas problem done the usual but its not the fault, definatly electric because if i dip the clutch and press the starter it goes straight away.If i try dropping gears it will not start for love love nor swearing but dip the clutch press the starter and off it goes again.This problem can start at anytime anywhere or not for a long while any ideas before i waste too much time and money going to dealer and getting ripped off big time as only dealers can and half the time the fitters in the dealers are only unit changers or chancers ,tossers who will get their hands dirty so can anyone pinpoint this problem as i can rewire it with a car module but iam not allowed to modify it as the spanish ITV (mot) will not allow me to modify anything in any way
