Not my bike, my son´s bike. De-restricted it, fine. Then the standard exhaust lost it´s baffles, had to change, got a good standard exhaust from eBay item no. 280387632075 £65, good quality. Changed the main jet from 56 to 60. Good overall performance, worked fine for a couple of months, noticed a drop in power on hills. We´d changed the rollers from the standard 7.5 grammes, to 4.5 grammes, a good improvement, today I found that if you lightly grease the rollers and the inside of the roller drum, note, LIGHTLY GREASE using high melting point grease, plus the back end of the steel tube that the roller drum sits on, making sure no grease goes anywhere near the belt, you get even more of an improvement. More speed up hills ( we have a lot of hills round here, ) and more excelleration + top end speed. Don´t forget, this bike has a standard exhaust on, yet on the straight today, I got 85 kph, and I´m 14 stone. You don´t need to spend a lot to make the bike go quicker. The exhaust was pretty cheap compaired to most, and the rollers were just £7 for the set. Hope this info helps someone. Kev |
