2022 SEF 300 Factory - Coolant Boiling |

After a 2 hour ride in 75 deg temps, my radiator was making noises and noticed it was boiling. There was coolant leaks from front end on fender as well out reserve tank. I looked for leak on front but could not find. The radiator level was full as well the reserve tank, so not much leaked out. I never heard / saw my fan running, even when I stopped and heard the boiling. I am thinking it’s the fan or maybe impeller. The bike is new with only 10 hrs. I was wondering how to get to fan connection so I could test prior to taking side cover and looking at impeller. Also, I was going to dump coolant, flush and refill as well replace cap. Thoughts? Thanks in advance. |
