Since August of 2004 I have been have starter problems. After two starter rebuilds replaced over running clutch. I eventually replaced the starter with an after market 1.5 KW now two starter pinion gears and a starter ring gear have been chewed up. Could it be the timing? Harley says maybe an alignment issue with the starter shaft and outer primary cover. Some say lifter bleed off...anyone have ideas or has anyone had this problem??
