I purchased a new 1973 Maico 125 in 1975. I used it trail riding and strip mine blasting in Weatern Maryland. I raced it one time and lost 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th gears. I purchased parts and a flimsey manual after a year of trying. It was a great bike and I had a lot of fun. It was a little peaky and lacked the power of the TM´s, YZ´s, and Elisnore´s.
