98 Harley-Davidson 1200 Sportster Sport discussion forum:

rear cylinder backfires constantly though carb. Bike will only run to 3000 - 4000 revs. Front cylinder seems to run fine. Is problem with ignition timing, dual fire ignition or possible bad leak at carb intake manifold? Any Thoughts?
