Guess I have been under a rock the last 15 years because tonight is the first time I have seen this bike. I have a 1947 Chief and love it and restored it about 18 years ago. After looking at the Dakota 4 it reminds me of a friend of mine in Texas that took a mid 30´s 4 frame and put a BMW engine trans and shaft drive in it and made it all bolt in and it looked like it belonged in the bike. I really like this new twist on an old idea. I would love to ride one and might trade my 47 in on one. MIGHT being the key word there.
