I have had my GT200 for almost a year. I drive it very aggresively and am not just barely feeling some slipping. Vespa recommends changing the belt and rollers out at 8,000 miles, mine has 8300 miles so I guess I am due for a changout. How many miles did you get out of your first belt? Sounds like you may have had a bad belt. Too bad they don´t make this scoot in a manual.
