I recently acquired a Vespa 200L and want to get advise on either selling as is, or repairing some cosmetic body damage on left side due to it apparently being laid down at some point. There is a large scrape on the back left fairing(I think it´s called) and the trim on the front left is loose & scratched up pretty good. They seem like easy fixes if I could find the parts. My friend David was the owner of his own motorcycle shop here in San Diego for many years and a professional motocross rider, and very knowledgeable when it came to bikes of all sorts. So I have to assume that this bike is something special or he wouldn´t have chosen it as his personal ride. If you have any advise I´d be appreciative. I have been riding a Buddy 125 for the past 10 years and love it. In ten years it´s never been in the shop & never broken down once! I just change the oils & spark plug every 1500 to 2000 miles and just the best bike I´ve ever owned. I don´t really want to sell the Vespa, I just wonder if I´m going to be able to afford it if it´s not as reliable as the Buddy. The Vespa has 10,300 miles on it. Thanks a lot guys, Jamey
