I just purchased a used 1993 HD FXRC Lowrider Convertible. I like the pop off windshield, it will come in handy this winter, and I like the saddlebag design. Easy on and off. While the bike doesn´t have as much power as I´m used to, it does seem to move along quite well. I like the dual discs up front, as most of your braking power is there. It does take alot to slow down 650lbs of steel. It´s got decent ground clearance and handles quite well for a Harley. I do plan on changing out the gas tank, and moving the gauges down to the tank one of these days, I´d like to clean up the front of the bike and it looks like the stock gauge location was an afterthought. I´ve got the Corbin seat, and it´s REAL comfortable. For tires, I run the Pirelli Diablo Corsas as they provide good traction and decent mileage. I also run these on one of my Buells. |
