Hello... brand new 05 dyna lowrider owner here. Very excited about the up coming spring. I loved reading everyones comments on this great machine. But I have one problem that I would like to through out there. The kick stand required special care. I have heard horror stories about fallen machines. I have addressed this with my selling dealer... who has seen a few bikes crash to the floor on the show room floor. my salesman suggestedto roll back on the bike to be sure the kick stand does not move backward and fail. I´ve been told this on other harley models. My father... also a dyna low rider owner... uses a bungy that goes around the forward peg, and ont the loop in the kick stand... he says that what he saw when he visited fulerton Harley Davidson in California. has anyone else had trouble with this kick stand set up? any stronger kicks stands avalible in the after market?
