Looking to purchase a 1989 FXRS

I´ll be looking at and possibly buying a 1989 Harley-Davidson FXRS Lowrider on saturday, 11-6-04. The guys asking $9000. The guy claims it has 250 mi on fresh top end, SS carb, ignition, new seat, fairing, floorboards, bags, 2 seats, great runner, great shape, great cruiser. Does anyone have any opinions about this bike model or what I should check? Any responses would be helpful.
