Just picked up a beautiful looking ´99 FXDL. Bringing her home in 102 degree heat at 70 to 75 mph 3000 RPMS. ran about 40miles then she just shut down and red engine light came on. I let her cool about 5 min. then she started up. Could only travel about a mile till she shut down again. I let her cool again and replayed the same about 10 times till I got her home. Is this normal in this extream heat? Previous owner says he never had that happen, but again we never had close that type of heat. I´vehad a ´84 FXST and currently a ´97 FXSTC with EVO engines and that never happened to them.
