| I recently purchased a 1998 Duc 600ss, this machine is in immaculate condition and only 10,000ks. The only problem I have had with my new baby is the sidestand, this being springloaded and at the slightest touch will spring upward also it is set at a odd angle making it very difficult to place the sidestand down. If you are over 5ft 4in you should have no problems, if under like me then you will have some fun. Does anyone know how to correct this? New stand or reinvent old one. I also have a zzr600 (which is for sale) and find that the Duc is not as quick of the mark and does not have the power when pulling out of corners, but other than that the Duc is a lively and beautifully designed bike making cornering even more fun. |
