I looked at this bike too. I am 6´1" and 225lbs. I wanted to get into sport riding on a budget, but I did not want something I would outgrow quickly either. I did a lot of research, and rode a number of bikes. I rode the naked GS500 not the F model, but have rode a lot of other crotch rockets. I recommend the Suzuki SV650S. Not a lot more money, but a lot more bike. Also more forgiving for a novice, faster in acceleration and top end, but smoother to ride. Sounds a lot meaner too. You can get a lot of upgrades, lower fairing, aftermarket exhaust, race body work. Check out www.SVRIDER.com for lots of info. Good luck.
